MetaFile AI Studio is an intelligent copilot embedded directly into the side dock of all 9 Studio editors. Rather than acting as a detached chat window, MetaFile AI possesses full context of the active document, spreadsheet, slide deck, CAD drawing, or vector artboard. Users can operate in two distinct modes: generating brand-new assets from natural language prompts, or highlighting specific sections (a paragraph of text, a range of spreadsheet cells, or a 3D geometry) to instruct the AI to edit, translate, or refine it in place. The system features three quality tiers (Cost-effective, Good quality, and High quality) and a fair overdraft token policy.

Ultra-fast and cost-optimized ($1.00 / 1M in, $2.00 / 1M out). Accessible to all accounts including the Free 5 GB plan as long as your token balance is positive.
Tier 2: Good quality (GPT-6.1 Sol)
Superior reasoning and nuanced writing ($2.50 / 1M in, $10.00 / 1M out). Automatically unlocked for all accounts on Standard 10 GB, Professional 200 GB, and Enterprise 1 TB plans.
Tier 3: High quality (GPT-6 Astra)
State-of-the-art precision for complex financial formulas, technical CAD calculations, and creative copywriting ($5.00 / 1M in, $20.00 / 1M out). Unlocked on all 10 GB+ plans.
Fair Negative Overdraft Token Rule
If a task begins while your token balance is greater than zero, MetaFile will never abort your generation mid-way. If the completed task costs more than your remaining tokens, your balance will go negative, allowing your document to finish cleanly. You simply top up tokens before starting your next task.

Follow these simple steps to start working productively with AI Studio Assistant:
Open the AI Copilot in Any Studio Editor
Look for the AI icon in the right dock of M.Word, M.Excel, M.Slide, M.CAD, or M.Vector to expand the AI assistant panel.
Select Mode & Model Quality Tier
Choose "Generate" or "Edit Selected". Select your preferred model tier (Cost-effective for quick tasks, Good quality or High quality for complex tasks).
Submit Prompt & Apply Changes with One Click
Review the streaming AI response. Click "Insert into Editor" or "Replace Selection" to seamlessly incorporate the generated content into your work.
